The metric test are based on the measurements of the components position on the hybrids relative to the mires.

Three mires are plotted on the hybrid substrate and used by the bonding machines using a pattern recognition for an automatic process.

The measure procedure are taken on the probes station; the mire 1 are located on the left-top zone of the hybrid, the mire 2 on the left-bottom and the mire 3 on the right-bottom.

The most important measures in our case are the shrink (distance between mires 2 and 3), the distance between APVs and eventually the APV0 position relative to mire 1
