The Front-end Hybrid Industrial Tester are developed specially for industrials producing hybrids.
Three tests are included in the FHIT process :

Connectivity Test
On each pin of the connector
Check interconnect for ground and power
Check connection to an IC (diode test)

Electrical Test
Apply power
Reset
Measure power supply voltages and
currents
Scan I2C and find responding
addresses
Write and read back in all R/W registers in MUX, PLL and DCU
Try to calibrate DCU by forcing ITH
to increasing DAC output and read back DCU channel 0
Read DCU channels
Load APVs with standard parameters
Measure power supply voltage and current
Reset
Remove power and measure voltage decay

Functional Test
Reset
Load standard I2C parameters
Exercise the APV with calibration
Histogramming of the output frames
Merging of all histograms
Check for two windows
Pedestal
