The group is working within the general
physics programs of ALICE at
LHC
and
STAR at
RHIC.
Our specific orientation is strangeness production, corresponding to different forms of strange matter, strange and multi-strange baryons, as well as exotic forms.
We are also engaged in R&D's about Si-strip detectors constituting
the two outer layers of the Internal Tracking System (ITS) of the
ALICE
detector and the outer layer of the SVT of the
STAR detector.
These developments are conducted in close collaboration with the
LEPSI (Strasbourg),
and
SUBATECH (Nantes) laboratories for STAR, plus
NIKHEF (Utrecht) and TORINO for ALICE.
